Enphase Energy Selected as the Preferred Solar Energy Solution Provider for Domos Industries' Freewatt Solar System

Companies partner on a smart solution for optimized self-consumption for French residential market

LYON, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENPH) and their distribution partner Domos Industries announced today the availability of Freewatt, a complete solar photovoltaic (PV) system powered by Enphase that addresses residential needs in France.

"Domos Industries' long-term experience in servicing end-user sustainable energy needs through its loyal installer-customer network is in lock-step with Enphase's go-to-market strategy," said Cathia Younsi, sales director, Western and Southern Europe, Enphase Energy. "The Freewatt platform addresses the increasing market demand for high-quality PV systems that can provide optimized self-consumption. It also offers a compelling choice for households to achieve greater energy autonomy while accelerating the return on their solar investment."

Freewatt enables electricity self-consumption and includes the Enphase microinverter-based system and top-end PV modules. Freewatt comes in nine different packages to serve a range of client energy needs, from 1 kilowatt-peak (kWp) for a dwelling consuming 5,000-6,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year to 6kWp for residences with an annual energy consumption exceeding 22,000 kWh.

Freewatt will be coupled with the brand-new Domosbox by Domos, a smart home management unit that synchronizes home automation, load control and energy management features with optimized photovoltaic consumption. Domosbox constantly monitors the electricity production provided by Freewatt and adjusts the indoor energy consumption to match energy yield and current household use.

"In our ultra-connected world, consumers want to choose where, when and how to consume. Self-consumption is therefore the most efficient solution to generate and manage their own power, taking control over their habits and needs as well as their electricity bills," said Laurent Arias, director of Domos Industries. "By using Enphase's intelligent solar energy system that facilitates right-sized solar arrays and offers maximum design flexibility to meet different energy behaviors, we are confident that we will provide an unmatched customer satisfaction experience in the long run."
