Fourth-Generation Enphase System Now Shipping in North America

PETALUMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENPH), announced today the fourth-generation Enphase System is shipping throughout North America. The system features the M250 Microinverter, which offers higher output power, increased conversion efficiency and a labor-saving integrated ground feature, in addition to new enhancements to the Enlighten software platform.

"The general availability of our most efficient, rigorously tested and robust Enphase System marks yet another milestone for us as the world's leading microinverter systems provider," said Paul Nahi, CEO of Enphase Energy. "Our system's powerful combination of advanced hardware and web-based software is not only simplifying the way professionals install solar but also streamlining their approach to operations and maintenance with enterprise-level tools integrated with Enlighten."

The fourth-generation Enphase System delivers both hardware and software improvements, with the world's most efficient microinverter at the heart of the offering. The M250 Microinverter, rated at 96.5 percent CEC weighted efficiency, is optimized for high-power solar modules up to 300W STC. Its unique integrated ground feature eliminates the need for a separate copper grounding electrode conductor (GEC), facilitating faster installation and lower materials costs. Also, each Envoy Communications Gateway can now support up to 500 microinverters and provides enhanced power-line communications capabilities for improved connectivity with the solar array.

Enlighten software platform enhancements introduced in the forth-generation system include MyEnlighten, an engaging new interface for solar system owners to view and share their solar arrays. Solar professionals can monitor and manage multiple Enphase installations through the new Enlighten Manager, offering web-based tools for the operations and maintenance of entire fleets of installed systems. Also, the second version Enlighten software platform API (application programming interface) makes it even easier for customers and partners to display Enlighten system data in their existing enterprise platforms or to create custom applications, such as fleet management tools, display kiosks, building management software, billing integration, mobile apps and more.
